Board of Directors election 2026​

The 2026 election of employee representatives for the constituency Norway in the Board of Directors of DNV Group AS will be held from 15 to 29 April 2026.

Two DNV employees based in Norway will be elected to the Board of Directors for a two-year term.

First and second candidate on​ the Tekna / NITO list

1. candidate: Grethe Valdø​

Personal: Cohabitant with Oddbjørn, two grown up children. Lives in Lierbyen. Recreational activities: Acrylic pour painting, gardening and socializing with good friends and family.

Professional: Senior Engineer working in the Technology Centre-Oslo. Worked over 40 years with Materials Advisory.  Started the DNV NITO group in 2011 and has been the leader since then. Elected chair of European Works Council in DNV since 2017.

Member of NITO's  Central Tariff Committee, Private sector.

Member of the board in NITO union in Norway.

Been employee representative either as safety deputy or as a member of a Union board more than 25 years.

2. candidate: Olivier Baldan

Personal: Married to Linn Marianne, two boys aged 9 and 6. Lives in Sagene (Oslo). Recreational activities: Triathlon, Basketball, Music.

Professional: Head of Delivery DNV Cyber Norway (Høvik).

Background as a Process Engineer.

Worked 12 years in Safety Risk Management in both Belgium (4 years) and Norway (8) with the last year as Head of Section.

Moved to Thailand from 2020 to 2025 as a "trailing spouse" and worked as a consultant for the UN Environment Programme during that time.

Volunteer work as leader of the technical committee of Engineers Without Borders Norway and English teacher for underprivileged women in Thailand.

Trine Jelstad Olsen, Energy Systems

Principal Engineer, Environmental loading and response

Trine holds a degree in applied mathematics and marine hydrodynamics from UiO in 2010 and has worked with offshore and coastal hydrodynamics in DNV since 2014. Before she joined DNV she worked as a CFD engineer and technical lead for flow assurance projects in FMC.

During her time in DNV, Trine has been involved in the Next Generation Summit as a facilitator, worked on digital assurance for the Group Innovation incubator and lead the climbing community Tindetass for 8 years.

She joined the Tekna board in 2018 and was vice chair of the board for 3 years.

Magnus Bratsberg Johannesen, Energy Systems

Senior Engineer, Environmental loading and response

Magnus has worked in DNV since 2019 after graduating from NTNU with a master in mechanical engineering. In the section for environmental loading and response he has been working with oil and gas, floating solar and coastal structures.
He has also been deputy chair of the Board of CONNECT for two periods and a member of the DNV Tekna board since 2022.

Tara Jahangiry, Maritime

Senior Engineer, Alternative Fuels & Piping Systems

Tara has worked at DNV since 2020 and holds a degree in Marine Technology from NTNU. Prior to joining DNV, she was a Trainee at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Lisbon and a Key Account Manager for Shipping and Oil & Gas at Korn Ferry.
At DNV, she has worked as an Approval Engineer within piping systems and alternative fuels, and as a Fleet in Service Surveyor in DNV Singapore. She has also held leadership roles as Chair of the Board of CONNECT Høvik and Project Manager for DNV’s Senior Management Council.
She joined the DNV Tekna Board in winter 2025.

Vegard Berge, Accelerator - Cyber

OT Cybersecurity consultant, OT Advisory & DFIR

Vegard Berge joined DNV Cyber in 2024 and holds a masters degree in Cyber Security from UiB. He previously worked as a full‑stack developer. ​

At DNV Cyber, he works with OT and IT security, security testing, and software development, with experience from consulting, cloud security, secure development, OT and IT risk assessments, anomaly detection, and threat modelling. He joined the DNV Tekna board in December 2025.
