About Shapemaker
In October of 2022, Røkkes RunwayFBU tok 10% of Shapemaker in a seed-round. Other external professional investors in Shapemaker are Firda AS and Antler. Shapemaker is a cloud-based software as a service (SaaS) for civil engineering analysis of telecommunication infrastructure. They leverage AI, cloud technologies, parametric modelling, geotechnologies, structural engineering and remote sensing of wind and terrain data. Shapemaker speeds up new telecommunication infrastructure roll-outs by optimizing civil engineering design and facilitating design standardization. Shapemaker is made up of 7 employees.
Balázs Kisfali er gründer og CEO av Shapemaker. Han er en av grunnleggerne av selskapet og en erfaren teknologidirektør og strukturingeniør med bakgrunn fra telekom-, eiendoms- og byggebransjen. Balázs har mastergrad i strukturteknikk fra Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Han brenner for å utnytte moderne IT-teknologier innen bygg og anlegg. Han er Tekna medlem og var medlem av Tekna Gründergruppen før han startet Shapemaker.
About Vake
If you have followed NRK Brennpunkt’s Skyggekrigen documentary, you will understand why Vake’s technology is a vital tool for monitoring offshore vessel movements and preventing sabotage. Vake is a Norwegian machine learning startup specializing in geospatial data processing and data fusion for geo intelligence applications. Their technology is at the cutting edge of satellite guided Maritime Domain Awareness. Vake’s key solution is Vake’s ship detection system applied in satellite imagery. Their system may help in detecting illegal fishing and environmental crimes in addition to help in monitoring sea-based assets and installations from sabotage. Vake has seven employees of which 6 have Master of Science degree from NTNU.
Thomas Stendahl Leira is the CEO of Vake. He has experience in product and business development, and strategy and innovation methods, through his work at Telenor Norge, Telenor Digital and DNV GL. Thomas joined Vake to professionalize and develop Vake into a leading supplier of geospatial intelligence and surveillance information for shipping. Thomas has a M.Sc. in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from NTNU.
