Travel info

Geilo is one of Norway's best ski resorts and is situated in the mountains between Oslo and Bergen. Time of travel is approximately 3 hours by train or car.  

Train tickets can be purchased up front at https://www.vy.no/en 
Tickets can also be purchased on the train – card only. 

When arriving in Geilo by train, a pick-up service will collect delegates at some dedicated arrivals.  

 
Tuesday March 16th

Tekna will organizers transport from the station, in the afternoon and evening trains, both from Bergen and Oslo. Time slots will be announced. 

Outside the dedicated pick-up service slots, the hotel can be contacted for at your preferred pick-up. Cost is NOK 50,-.  
 

Friday March 19th
Transport from hotel to the station for train to Oslo and Bergen  
 
Transport for Oslo Airport Gardermoen, departing from Vestlia Resort, at 1100 from the hotel entrance. ETA 1430. Ticket NOK 700,-.  

Pre-book upon online registration. Can be booked on-site if seats are available.
