We at Tekna are excited to welcome all our representatives who prefer English to complete the basic training course, made especially for you! Through this course you will get to know other Tekna representatives and your support network from our general secretariat.

Description

This is part two of the basic training course for you as a Tekna representative in the private sector.

Part two is set up over two days.

  1. Day one will give you insight in to the contracts and rules you must know to succeed in your role as a Tekna representative
  2. Day two will prepare you for negotiations and you will learn various negotiation techniques
    • There will be time to practice so that you are ready for negotiations on behalf of your members

What is the basic course for Tekna representatives?

The basic training course is specially designed to give you the knowledge to handle your role as a Tekna representative.

  • The basic training course Part 1 is digital and takes about four hours. In Norwegian. Subtitles in English. (Learn how to translate webpages)
  • Basic training course Part 2 last two days, at a hotel

We strongly recommend that you complete Part 1 before you come to Part 2. All members of the board must attend, and Tekna recommends you complete the basic training as soon as possible after being elected as a Tekna representative.

On the digital basic training course Part 1 you get an introduction to how the cooperation between the representative and employer is regulated and how this works in real life. You can pause the course, and return later throughout. Read more and take Part 1 here.

Target group of this course

This basic training course is for Tekna representatives in the private sector. All members of the Tekna board are welcome!

Practical information, refund of expenditures and travel information
