Termination of employment: The dialogue meeting

Modified: Dec. 3 2020 Streaming

In this webinar we will focus on the rules regarding the consolidation meeting, also known as a draft or dialogue meeting.

Before reaching a decision concerning termination of employment an employer is obliged, to the extent that it is practically possible, to discuss the matter with the employee and the employee’s workers representative or other adviser, unless the employee does not desire such discussion. The employer is in other words obliged to hold a so-called consolidation meeting according to the Working Environment Act § 15-1, which is what you will learn more about from this webinar.

We will guide you on the content of the rule, how to prepare for the meeting, how to act in the meeting and possible outcome.

Speaker is, Frode Steindebakken Rognsaa. He is an experienced Tekna lawyer, with expertise on individual labor law, and negotiation.
