Call for abstract
Tekna and the Program Committee invite industry professionals, researchers and technology providers to submit abstracts for the 2027 conference.
Produced water management is evolving rapidly. Stricter regulations, maturing assets, digitalisation and the increasing focus on sustainability and resource optimisation are reshaping how we design and operate water management systems.
We welcome contributions presenting new insights, field experience, research results and innovative technologies within – but not limited to – the following topics:
- Regulatory developments and compliance
Meeting new regulations and industry standards, BAT assessments, environmental requirements, and produced water management strategies. - Sustainable water management and optimisation
Economic assessments, late-life field considerations, injection strategies, and produced water as a resource. - Separation, treatment and process optimisation
Low-cost and low-risk treatment solutions, process design, chemical management, solids and sand handling, and optimisation of existing treatment systems. - Digitalisation, AI and data-driven operations
AI, machine learning, digital twins, monitoring, process control, and data-driven optimisation of produced water systems. - Emerging technologies and technology qualification
Novel treatment technologies, field testing, performance improvements, and implementation of new solutions. - Environmental performance and HSE
Oil-in-water compliance, reducing chemical usage, environmental monitoring, discharge performance, and sustainability initiatives. - Field experiences and case studies
Practical operational experience, lessons learned, successful water management programmes, troubleshooting, and best practices from offshore and onshore facilities.
