Call for abstract
Tekna and the program committee encourage to submit abstracts within Produced Water Management, and here some examples which us not limited to:
· How to ensure meeting new regulations and industry standards (regulators and environmental bodies/operations).
o Regulation
o Environmental issues
o BAT assessments
· Produced Water handling
o Injection
o Fluid assessment /chemical management.
o Operational case studies and developing a successful water management program.
o Handling solids (particles) in the water treatment facilities
o Available technologies to improve performance of existing equipment.
o Subsea PWM aspects
· Other oily water: Open Drain/Slop handling
o Design and operation of open drain water treatment
o Slop handling
· Seawater Treatment for injection
o Oxygen removal from seawater
o Sea water treatment/material selection/use of chemicals
· Digital Aided Operations - AI/Machine Learning Experiences for PW management.
- How can we use digital data to improve PW management and reliability.
- PW plant design related to instrumentation and maintenance.
· Value Chain Perspective
o Upstream separation with focus on system impact
o Well clean-up experiences
· New and emerging research, technologies, and applications within water management for oil and gas operations
· Produced Water as a resource
Abstract guidelines
To select and accept the abstract, the committee is dependent on an abstract containing the purpose of the work, results, the novelty and a conclusion on what will be presented in the presentation/paper.
An abstracts should include:
- Minimum 250 words - News and novel technology
- A new story to tell
- A conclusion and what specifically will be presented
- Non-commercial content
- Name of author and co-authors. Contact details of corresponding author.
