Tour of the Royal Palace

The Royal Palace is open to the public during the summer. Visitors receive a guided tour in English through the Palace's most beautiful state rooms: the Council Wardrobe, the Minister's Salon, the Council Chamber, the White Parlour, King Haakon VII's suite, the Upper Vestibule, the Bird Room, the Mirror Hall, the Daily Dining Room, the Small Banquet Hall, the Large Banquet Hall, and the Grand Dining Room.

Meeting time 16:00. Entrance outside the Palace Courtyard on the west side of the Palace (back side, facing Parkveien). Everyone must go through security check first. The tour starts promptly at 4:20 PM and lasts about 1 hour.

First come, first served. The group can accommodate up to 45 people.

Bags, outerwear, umbrellas, cameras, and similar items are not allowed inside the Palace. Please allow enough time to store these in the lockers if needed. Photography inside the Royal Palace is not permitted.
