The arts of Reconciliation and Resilience, in a multicultural perspective
- two intertwined essential leadership skills to succeed in a globalized world

Defeat and alienation make life real for any leader; resilience and reconciliation are necessary skills to succeed leading the team onwards out of these.
Have you ever experience defeat? Have you ever found yourself or someone in your team distancing from others that is necessary to cooperate with?
Failure and disagreements are two situations that no one likes but that we all face – at times quite often. Failure preceeds defeat, and disgrements preceeds alienation (either yourself or others). These are part of what makes life real and are faced by any leader. Furthermore, it is embedded in the leadership role to find a solution to move on. However, the situation doesn’t need to be as gloomy as it seems, the arts of reconciliaton and resilience come to the rescue. These are essential skills for any leader to move onwards out of situations like these, especially in a globalized environment where the multicultural differences and views are the largest common denominator, and one of the most difficult to manage as a leader.
In today's event from Tekna Oslo's group "Ethic and leadership", you will hear real life examples of the application these two arts: reconciliation and resilience.
