Start the ski-season with a beginner course in classic cross-country skiing techniques!
Do you concider yourself a beginner on skiis, and want to improve your skills before embarking on a journey through Nordmarka. Then this course is for you.
The goal of the two sessions is to become more confident on skis, as well as geting an familiar with the most common classical cross-country skiing techniques. We will focus on achieving good balance, mastering downhill slopes and breaking. Additionally, we will provide basic training in cross-country techniques such as diagonal stride and pole pushing.
The course will take place over two evenings:
- Monday 6. January 6:30 PM to 19:45 PM
- Monday 13. January 6:30 PM to 19:45 PM
- Each session lasts 75 minutes
- You sign up for both evenings at the same time
Practical information:
- Meeting point by Bull Superski Bull Superski - Google Maps
- Bring a small backpack for extra clothing in case it gets warm or cold before, during, or after the session.
- Arrive well in advance (10-15 minutes before the start of the course) especially if you need to rent the equipment.
- The rental of skis, skipoles and shoes is included in the price. You can also bring your own skis and equipment.
Directions to Holmenkollen National Arena:
Take subway line 1 (Frognerseteren) to Holmenkollen; from there, it's a 10-minute walk uphill along the road. Follow
Holmenkollveien to Holmenkollen chapel, and then turn left and follow Kongeveien circa 200 m.
There are available parking places nearby Bull Superski.
