Call for abstracts

The organizing committee invites abstract submissions for Norwegian Bioinformatics Days 2026, taking place in Trondheim on September 10–11, 2026. The conference is a meeting place for researchers working in bioinformatics, computational biology, and data-driven life science research. It brings together participants from academia, healthcare, industry, and research infrastructure to share new results, exchange ideas, and strengthen collaborations across disciplines.

We especially encourage submissions related to the main conference themes:

  • Multi-omics data integration
  • Microbiomes and microbial communities
  • Single-cell and spatial analysis
  • Artificial intelligence and machine learning in life sciences

Submissions outside these themes but relevant to computational life science are also welcome.

A limited number of submitted abstracts will be selected for short oral presentations, while all accepted submissions will have the opportunity to present a poster. Poster sessions are designed to facilitate scientific discussion and networking.

We strongly encourage submissions from PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, early-career scientists, and industry researchers. Further information regarding submission guidelines will be announced soon.
