Join this fun mushroom foraging trip and learn about edible mushrooms in the Norwegian forest.
Course instructor Patrick Bösch shares his great engagement and knowledge about mushrooms. He is a certified mushroom and crop expert, and can assist in double-checking the catch.
Course contents: Field theory, guided foraging, check of the catch, food samples
There will be a focus on how to safely identify the mushrooms and collect them sustainably. In addition, you will also get tips on the use and preservation of the catch.
There will also be some food samples with mushrooms as one of the ingredients. Please let us know if you have any allergies when signing up.
Remember to bring:
- Weather appropriate clothing, with long trousers
- Good shoes that can tolerate some moisture
- Basket or fabric bag to hold the smaller containers
- ideally several breathable containers for the different mushrooms (for example paper bags, grape boxes, etc.)
- Mushroom or vegetable knife
- Something to drink, snacks
- Insect repellent (nice to have) *Recommended
