In 2020 Tekna member Radu Achihai decided to get out of the oil industry to help build a better world. The same year, he met his business partner and together, they started the battery company Evyon. Evyon provides modular DC battery energy storage solutions based on repurposed EV batteries for system integrators to integrate into a range of solutions. The modules are scalable to fit customers’ needs and are online-connected to maximize safety, performance, and longevity.
Evyon thereby maximizes the value of second-life EV batteries by repurposing them in a data-driven, safe, and cost-effective way.
