Digital Twin in manufacturing

What's the technological potential, pitfalls and prerequisites for Digital Twin in manufacturing?
In a manufacturing context, a Digital Twin is a virtual representation of an observable Manufacturing Element. The Element and Twin states may be aligned on the fly, allowing the Digital Twin a key role in product life-cycle management.
How are technologies such as IoT, Big Data, AI and CAx, and standards like ISO 10303, used in the concept of a Digital Twin? What are the barriers and how do we overcome them? Learn more from:
- Oliver Barrowclough, Research Scientist, SINTEF Digital: Enabling technology for Digital Twins
- Heidi Dahl, Senior Research Scientist, SINTEF Digital: Practical barriers for Digital Twin analytics
- Kjell Bengtsson, Vice President, Jotne: Standard Based Digital Twin
The presentations will be given in English. Intended audience: Anyone with basic technological understanding and an interest in Digital Twin technology.
