“The solution to pollution is dilution” – it used to be, but now, to address climate change and air pollution, focus lies in reducing emissions. This is achieved through both strategic incentives to inspire individuals and industries towards cleaner and sustainable practices but also through regulatory measures.
Senior Scientists Susana Lopez-Aparicio and Henrik Grythe from NILU will in this presentation discuss the specific incentives shaping the traffic and residential heating sectors in Norway. They will focus on the challenges and trade-offs in pursuing sustainable solutions, and explore the synergies between incentives and regulatory measures.
