What to bring

Everyone (whatever your coding level): 

• A laptop and charger, come fully charged 
• Pick your favourite browser, you'll need it 
• A free Google account — we'll share the data and a ready-to-run notebook via Google Drive, and the browser option below runs on Google too. 

No coding experience? No problem — you can participate fully in the browser. 

• Nothing to install. We'll provide a link to a browser-based notebook (Google Colab) with everything set up. 
• Feel free to use your favourite AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) to help you along the way. 

If you'd rather code on your own laptop (optional): 

• Python 3.10 or newer 
• These packages: pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, matplotlib, jupyter 
• Easiest option: install the Anaconda distribution, which bundles all of them 

No prior coding experience is required — we'll have a browser-based option and a starter template so everyone can join in. 
 
The data will be shared on the day via a Google Drive link, so there's nothing to download in advance — just come with the setup above ready to go.
