About the event:
Macks Brewery is the northernmost brewery in the world, as well as the oldest pub in Tromsø. It is considered a true institution.
Tip: Ølhallen has a vast selection of craft beer on tap. Try it out and find your new favourite.

Enjoy a delicious three-course meal accompanied by drinks. Chose between Halibut or Reindeer as main course.

Reindeer camp stay, dinner and chance of Northern Lights

Price: Kr 1400.- +  kr 350.- (VAT 25%)

About the event: 

Do not miss the opportunity to experience Sami culture when we visit a sami reindeer herding family. The Sami people are the indigenous people of Norway.  We invite you to walk among 300 reindeers, enter a candlelit Gamme (traditional sami hut), try traditional foods, experience joiking (traditional Sami songs), Sami history and stories. If the sky is clear, we might be lucky and see some majestic Northern lights.

The trip includes: 
  • Transport to and from the reindeer camp.
  • Feeding of wild reindeer, and a tour around the reindeer camp.
  • Hot drinks (tea, coffee, hot chocolate) around the fire inside a warm candlelit gamme.
  • A cold-smoked salmon starter, followed by Bidos (traditional reindeer stew), and Sami bread.
  • Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options are available on request.
  • Chocolate cake and blueberry dessert.
  • Listen to joiking (traditional sami song) and stories about Sami culture and history.T
  • he opportunity to experience Northern lights.
  • Back in Tromsø around 22:30.
