Tomas Mørch

Regulation, legal and fiscal metering

Tomas is one of two conference Keynotes.

Tomas has a master’s degree in reservoir technology from the University of Stavanger. He began his career as an equipment operator in BJ Services in 1990, worked offshore mainly with well cementing, completion, well stimulating and pressure testing.

From 1992 Tomas worked at the Norwegian Offshore Directorate with various tasks within resource management, reservoir technology, exploration, field development, production, and project management. Over the past 15 years, Tomas has held various leadership roles within the Norwegian Offshore Directorate management team, mainly within resource management, field development and production.

The last year Tomas has taken the position of assistant director with responsibility for fiscal metering, regulations and legal.

Shell

Verdi Wahjosoedibjo is the Global Discipline Head for Instrumentation, Control and Electrical (GDH ICE) in Shell. He has over 30 years of experience in the energy sector and has held multiple positions in Shell encompassing R&D, Downstream, Engineering and Projects organizations.

Verdis experience includes advanced process control technology deployment, management of refinery operations, general manager for engineering, and now GDH ICE. Verdi’s assignments have encompassed Shell’s operations across the globe.
As GDH ICE, Verdi leads a discipline of 1,650 engineers and technicians whose purpose is to power and automate Shell’s energy transition strategy.

Verdi trained in electrical and chemical engineering, specializing in control engineering. He holds engineering degrees from Stanford University.
