The oil and gas flow measurement industry is moving towards higher accuracy, more environmental focus, unmanned maintenance free operation, online diagnostics and performance monitoring.
The North Sea Flow Measurement Workshop will be arranged for the 39th time in 2021. This annual event alternates between Norway and UK and is the world’s most recognized event on topics related to accurate flow measurement and metering systems for oil and gas at single phase, wet gas or multiphase conditions, including sampling and online analysis of associated fluid properties.
As program chair for 2021 I do hope the program will be of interst and that the conference will be supported by relugars as well as new delegates, and that this prominent event will be kept alive

The conference gathers all key players working with the challenges related to traditional oil and gas measurement as well as the integral part of the transition from oil and gas into a mixed energy portfolio and the low carbon renewables and hydrogen.

The conference program is packed with news on traditionally flow measurement as well as subjects related to new markets and energy transition presented by professionals worked in the business for years
who willingly share their knowledge and important experiences.
Conference format
In times where we now have shared information pure digitally, we believe that meeting people, listening to presentations, asking questions, discussing technical and business topics, studying field equipment and demo models in an informal atmosphere is of high and underestimated importance and value.
With that in mind we hope that most of the delegates choose to come to Tønsberg in person.
While we at the same time see that restriction to travel still will be an issue, we have decided to go for a HYBRIDE format which also allow digital attendance
We hope we will see regulars as well as new delegates at the conference in October, live in Tønsberg or digitally.
