John Ugelstad
He was a chemist and the inventor of the Ugelstad spheres, used in biochemical analyses, cancer treatment, and LCD screens, among other things. He was known as an engaged lecturer with the ability to explain and simplify complex physical problems in simple ways.
Tekna and the Tekna Oslo departement are 150 years old
This year, Tekna is celebrating 150 years. Tekna is the trade union for 108,000 natural scientists, technologists, and students, and it all started with the establishment of the Tekna Oslo department. This exhibition is part of the Tekna Oslo department’s celebration of the 150th anniversary.
