Ellen Gleditsch
She was a chemist and specialist in radioactivity. In 1907, she became a student at the Curie Institute in Paris. During her five years there, she was twice an assistant to the Nobel laureate in physics, Marie Curie, and participated in pioneering work in radioactivity.
Tekna and the Tekna Oslo departement are 150 years old
This year, Tekna is celebrating 150 years. Tekna is the trade union for 108,000 natural scientists, technologists, and students, and it all started with the establishment of the Tekna Oslo department. This exhibition is part of the Tekna Oslo department’s celebration of the 150th anniversary.
