Welcome to Geilo 2023

Tekna and the program committee have the pleasure to welcome you and your colleagues to the Oil Field Chemistry Symposium in Geilo, March 2023.

Production chemistry continues to challenge our industry which will again will require new and innovative solutions for the years and decades to come, hence the symposium will continue to be an important place to meet for sharing and learning.

The symposium is a unique event where the technical program and the networking is very much balanced and that in the informal lodge atmosphere in Vestlia Resort. The tradition of 3 hours lunch break is convenient as we are in Geilo, one of Norway's best ski resorts.

Attending the conference will give you an update on what ia new in regard to production chemistry and how to operate without harming the environment.

Informal Forum

The symposium has been an important forum for 35 years allowing operators, researchers, scientists, engineers, students and suppliers to meet and share valuable experiences, competence and innovative solutions to avoid incidents that could have impact on environment, health and/or cost

It is imperative that the operation industry and researchers have continual interaction and integration, including different disciplines and industry sectors, and the Geilo symposium deliver that.

As the oil and gas industry goes on the symposium is still a vital forum and a breeding place for sharing of knowledge and experience’s in solving oilfield and chemistry challenges and today also related to the energy transition.

Program 2023

Tekna and the technical committee has concluded and the final program for 2023 is published.

The program offers a variaty of production chemistry topics and the speakers are representing key players in the industry, from vendors and the academia.  Program

Short Course
We are back at offering a course the afternoon prior to the conference focusing on Energy Transition and the role of Production Chemistry.  Program soon to be published

In this context the program will mostly offer presentations related to chemical challenges related to oil&gas production and  look into  the drive toward carbon neutral, such as CCUS (carbon capture and underground storage) and geothermal etc.

We hope to see you and your colleagues at this unique event,
gathering colloborating professionals willing to share knowledge and experiences with you
