Participation fee:

NOK 1000; for YMG and YBN members and ordinary students

(approx. 100 euros)

- Participation fee for students who take part in the competition - (attach study certificate or/with approved paper)

NOK 1750; for PhD students

(approx. 170 euros)

- Participation fee for students who take part in the competition - (attach study certificate or/with approved paper)

NOK 2500; for other participants

(approx. = 250 euros)

Papers:

Papers shall be written according to the paper guidelines for the symposium but marked "Competition of young minds". The papers will be forwarded to a committee for evaluation and nomination. 10 nominees for the awards will be identified in the papers. Papers not nominated will be forwarded to the Scientific Committee of the symposium for review together with the other papers submitted for the symposium. Presentation of the papers will take place during the symposium.

Evaluation - The concept will be judged on the following criteria:

- Creativity

- Economy

- Feasibility

- Impact

The final evaluation of the concept is based on the paper, oral presentation at the symposium and poster.

The winners will be announced during the symposium dinner.

Award:

The top ten papers will have their poster on display at fib Conceptual Design 2023, receiving exposure at the symposium.

The winning team from each group will win a prize of 1500€, honoring at the symposium dinner and a diploma.
