Production Chemistry Symposium 2024
Welcome to the Geilo “Production Chemistry Symposium” for both oilfield chemists and professionals working with renewable energies.

Welcome Production Chemistry 2024
Either you are a regular or a newcomer we have the pleasure, once again, to welcome you to the preferred event discussing production chemistry challenges and innovative solutions.
The production of oil and gas continues to challenge the industry, in regard to environmental
requirements urging for innovative and sustainable solutions for the years and decades to come. The 2023 conference included a shot course and several papers which covered the vital role of chemistry in the energy transition journey – something which proved to be very popular amongst delegates. We are keen to continue to bring attendees the latest in both transition technology and field experience, whilst also maintaining a balance with oilfield chemistry developments and case studies. Both are an essential part of the transition journey.

The Geilo symposium is preferred by professionals due to the unique format being under the same roof in three days, learning, sharing and discussing on stage and off stage. The program is well balanced between academic and industry contributions and has become a melting pot of sharing knowledge and experiences for innovative solutions.
Why attend?
It is imperative that the operation industry and researchers have continual interaction and integration, including different disciplines and industry sectors, and the Geilo symposium deliver that.
The symposium has been, and is, a vital forum for innovation, allowing operators, researchers, scientists, engineers, students, and suppliers the opportunity to share valuable information in an open and constructive way, build on ideas from others and develop a range of solutions to the ever-changing oilfield production chemical challenges.
