A0S Safety course for conveyer belt driver and pump operator is in accordance with competence requirements given in NS-EN 206 + NA. The course is a competency course approved by the Concrete Training Council / Betongopplæringsrådet (BOR).

This course is especially designed for foreign language graduates who have inadequate knowledge of Norwegian. Tuition and the course material is in English.

Practical information

The course starts Friday at 15:00 and ends Saturday 15:00.
The course ends with an exam.

The course price includes snacks, wter and coffee in the breaks, and lunch Saturday.

Participants are responsible for booking hotel rooms. When you sign up for the course, check for the box that you want a hotel room.

The course certificate is awarded after completion of the course and passing the exam.

Certificate of competence
In addition to this theoretical course, you must complete a practical part and operate machines and equipments to gain approved competence. This is done at your workplace.

Form with personal data and practice is sent to the course leader (stine.stokkeland@tekna.no) at the latest when the course ends.
Certificate of competence with approved classes will be sent out after treatment of the Concrete Training Council (Betongopplæringsrådet), BOR.

Regulations on the execution of work (§ 10-4. Requirements for equipment-specific training) require the employer to ensure that the employee receives the necessary training on the specific work equipment he/she uses. The employer must ensure that the training is adapted to the nature of the work equipment and to ensure that the worker can use the work equipment in a proper manner. It must be documented which work equipment has been given training, who has provided the training and who has been trained.

Cancellation
If participants cancel after the deadline, they will have to pay the course fee.

The Norwegian Concrete Association has the right to postpone or cancel the course if there are too few participants registered
