The development in the Barents Sea and the High North is of importance both to secure global energy security and for commercial opportunities for petroleum operators and national strategic interests of Norway, Russia and other nations that are part of the Arctic region.
Due to heavy environmental concerns, the operators are dependent on further development of existing technology as well as developing new technology.
The conference focuses on design and technology developments for operations in the Arctic and the High North.
